These Terms & Conditions (“Agreement”) govern the use of the website www.hatbazar.co (the “Website”), mobile site, and any related applications (collectively referred to as the “Platform”), owned and operated by Hatbazar (“Company”, “we”, “our”, or “us”).
By accessing or using our Platform and placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our Platform.
1. Eligibility
Services are available only in selected geographic locations in India.
Persons who are not competent to contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872, including minors under 18 years of age, may use the Platform only under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms.
2. Modification of Terms
Hatbazar reserves the right to update, modify, or amend these Terms at any time without prior notice. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on the Platform. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
3. Orders & Delivery
Orders can be placed through our Platform within available service areas.
The final time for placing a next-day delivery order is 11:00 PM.
Express delivery (where available) will be delivered within approximately 90 minutes.
Delivery timelines are estimates and may be delayed due to traffic, weather conditions, natural calamities, or unforeseen circumstances.
The customer must ensure availability at the delivery address to receive the order.
Your order constitutes an offer to purchase. We reserve the right to accept or reject any order at our discretion.
Orders may be cancelled:
Within 30 minutes for next-day delivery.
Within 60 seconds for express delivery.
Hatbazar may cancel orders due to stock unavailability, payment authorization failure, or other operational reasons.
Delivery charges, if applicable, are shown at checkout and may change without prior notice.
Customers must inspect products at the time of delivery and report any issues immediately.
4. Products & Pricing
We strive to provide accurate product descriptions, but we do not guarantee that all descriptions are error-free or complete.
All prices are listed in INR and may change according to market rates without prior notice.
The final price charged will be the price displayed at checkout.
In rare cases of pricing errors due to technical issues or supplier information errors, we reserve the right to cancel affected orders.
Product images are for illustrative purposes only and may differ slightly in size, color, or appearance.
For fish products, weights are measured before cleaning and descaling. Actual weight after cleaning may be 20%–40% lower, depending on the type of fish.
If a product becomes unavailable after an order is placed, we reserve the right to cancel or remove that product from the order.
5. Quality & Freshness
Hatbazar ensures that all chicken and fish products are sourced, handled, and stored following strict hygiene and safety standards.
Due to the perishable nature of our products:
Customers must refrigerate items immediately upon delivery.
We are not responsible for spoilage due to improper storage after delivery.
6. Payment
Accepted payment methods include:
Cash on Delivery (COD)
PhonePe
Google Pay
Paytm
BHIM UPI
We do not accept cheques or demand drafts.
All payments are processed through secure payment gateways to protect your information.
7. Coupons & Offers
Hatbazar reserves the right to modify, deactivate, or cancel any coupon codes, vouchers, or promotional offers at any time without prior notice.
8. Replacement & Refund Policy
Refunds or replacements must be requested within 24 hours of delivery.
Customers must report damaged, defective, or incorrect products immediately.
Products must be returned to receive a replacement or refund.
For online payments, refunds will be credited to the original payment method within 7 business days (depending on bank processing time).
For COD or UPI on Delivery orders, refunds may be credited to the customer’s wallet or bank account.
Sealed branded products will not be accepted once delivery is completed.
Customers must check products at the time of delivery. Post-delivery complaints may not be entertained.
9. Privacy & User Conduct
You agree to provide accurate and truthful information while registering or placing orders.
We reserve the right to cancel orders or accounts if false information is detected.
You shall not attempt unauthorized access, hacking, password mining, or misuse of the Platform.
Personal information is collected and used in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties, except as necessary to fulfill orders or comply with legal obligations.
10. Termination
Hatbazar reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Platform without prior notice if you violate these Terms.
Upon termination:
Outstanding orders may be cancelled.
We may take necessary steps to prevent unauthorized access.
11. Limitation of Liability
Hatbazar is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the Platform or products.
Our maximum liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific product in question.
We are not responsible for delays caused by external factors beyond our control.
12. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of India.
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of [Your City, State].
